SATURDAY CLASSES
A full day of ballet and modern jazz classes for The Academy of Classical Dance takes place on Saturday in the Dance Room of the Wellesley Recreation Center.
INTENSIVE DANCE
For those ballet dancers seeking several classes per week, studying pointe, and/or are more seriously focused, our afterschool Intensive Dance Program is a great option. Along with Saturday ballet classes, afternoon ballet classes are being provided two or more times per week meaning ballet dancers may take one to three classes per week. Auditions for these classes are required in order to maintain a challenging environment for all dancers involved. The audition consists of teacher observation during the first meeting for the class. Interested dancers should register and pay in full for the class semester. Those who do not make it will receive a full refund.
Modern and Tap classes are also being provided for those students in Grade 3-12 who wish to expand their skills to include other dance genres.
ADULT CLASSES
Adult workshops of 8-10 weeks long in Ballet and Modern Jazz are provided at times throughout the year. Classes may be held at either the Wellesley Recreatioin Center, Fitness Club for Women, Babson college or Dana Hall School. Please refer to our schedule throughout the year for details.
PRIVATE CLASSES
Arrangements can be made for private lessons for those desiring one-on-one instruction. Teacher availability is very limited.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
If you do not find what you are looking for on our current schedule, please contact us. There may be others who feel the same as you and it still may be possible to arrange a class for you.
